GROUPS and SPA PACKAGES
“Coming with friends?”
Should we reserve a Spa package or just a room?
Most people book Spa packages, as they are more economical and convenient. Most of our suites are reserved for guests having packages; however, we still offer a limited selection of ala carte rentals.
Is it possible to have our Spa services during the same block of time so that we minimize the time we are apart?
Yes. Normally, we are able to schedule treatments at the same time of day. For example, everyone has their treatments in the morning or afternoon. (Of course, this depends on the size of your group.) We do our best to schedule you at the same time, and are often able to schedule treatments within an hour of one another.
Do you offer special rates for groups?
Sorry, we do not offer special rates or discounts for groups.
Can some people in our party do Spa packages while others reserve ala carte?
If you are sharing a room, we are unable to separate a la carte and package rates.
Is dinner included in our Spa package?
Sorry, we do not offer dinner on our property. However, our Girls’ Night In and Treat Yourself Right packages include a spa lunch. There are several wonderful restaurants within a 15 minute drive.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Do accommodations have decks or balconies?
We do have several accommodations with decks or balconies. They can be requested, but are subject to availability.
Do any of the rooms have a king-size bed?
No. The largest bed we have is a queen.
Do accommodations have fireplaces, hot tubs, or jacuzzis?
Our rooms do not have fireplaces, hot tubs, or Jacuzzis. Instead of staying inside your room, visit our Spa for a pampering massage or facial.
Can we smoke?
Smoking is not allowed indoors, or in public areas, such as on our main deck or outside our café. You are welcome to smoke outside your unit, if it does not affect your neighbors.
Do your accommodations have kitchens?
All of our suites are equipped with kitchenettes (standard rooms do not have kitchenettes). Kitchenettes include an under-counter refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffeemaker, and essential cooking supplies.
Do the queen rooms have a refrigerator and microwave?
Our $99 rooms are not equipped with a refrigerator or microwave. If you’d like these amenities, upgrading to a suite is the best option.
Is there internet access in the rooms?
Currently, wireless high-speed internet access is available in most of our rooms, but is not guaranteed to work in the cabins located furthest from our office. However, a guest computer is always available in our TV lounge for your convenience, and you are free to use your laptop in our TV lounge, on the main deck, or in the café. |
SPA SERVICES
Can I have Spa services if I’m pregnant?
We do offer a wonderful pre-natal massage. All services with heat should be avoided.
Do we need to schedule Spa services and Yoga before we arrive?
Yes, definitely schedule Spa services before you arrive, as the Spa fills quickly. If you’re interested in yoga, it’s helpful if we know prior to your arrival; however, you can always sign-up upon arrival.
Do you offer couples’ massage?
We do not offer couples’ massage, where treatments are performed in the same room. However, it’s generally possible to schedule treatments at the same time.
Do you have a hot tub or sauna in the Spa?
Sorry, at this time, we do not have a hot tub or sauna in the Spa. We would suggest the Aromatic Hot Towel massage which blends steamy towels with a wonderfully relaxing 80-minute massage.

Can you please send me a brochure?
We are constantly making updates and stopped printing brochures for this reason. All information can be found on our website, which is always up-to-date.
How close are you to the Bryson City Train Depot, NOC, Tsali and other attractions?
We are very conveniently located at the midpoint between Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, off hwy 74. This means we are a short 10-15 minute drive from most popular attractions in the area.
What times are check-in and check-out?
Check-in time is 2pm the day of your arrival. Check-out is by 11am. If you would like to request an early arrival or late check-out, let us know and we will try to accommodate this. Without prior approval, however, we must insist on strict adherence to our check in and out times, due to our tight housekeeping schedule.
How far in advance should we book?
As far as possible. Since we are a small property, we fill up very fast. Holiday weekends tend to book months in advance, as do most dates in October. Summer dates also fill up quickly, so to get your preferred dates, be sure to reserve them as soon as you can. Of course, last minute availability is possible, so you can always call to see anyway, but this is not the trend.
What can I expect the weather to be like?
Generally speaking, the weather is not extreme. Summers may get hot, but the nights usually cool down. Fall may be chilly, but the days are usually pleasant. The rainy season is winter and spring, but the weather is usually dictated by national front patterns. Thus, absent a large storm system moving through the area, precipitation is not likely even in the rainy season.
AIRPORTS
Regardless of where you fly in to, you will need to rent a car. Shuttle service is not available and you will want a car during your stay for convenience.
